Sometimes students arrange their own accommodation when they come to Madrid but most ask us to organise this for them. We know from experience that one of the most important parts of your stay is the accommodation.
We offer a wide range of possibilities because we understand that everyone has different needs; we can arrange for you to stay with a host family, in a shared apartment, a student residence, an studio, a hostel or a hotel depending on your preferences.
Before you leave your country we will send you full details where you will be staying, including the address, telephone number and further information about location, the nearest metro station or the best way to reach the house from the airport.

Homestay accommodation is ideal for people who would like to practise their Spanish and learn a bit about lifestyles and culture in Spain. Most students of Spanish coming to Madrid for the first time choose to stay with a host family. We carefully select the families that we work with to ensure they are friendly and helpful and also that they offer a high standard of comfort.
Most of the families live near to the centre town (where the school is located). Some families are within walking distance of the Acento Español school. Others are 15 / 20 minutes by metro or by bus.
The most common homestay option students choose is a single room with breakfast and dinner (half board). However, if you want you can choose to have only breakfast or even full board (breakfast and two meals).
It is also possible to arrange shared accommodation (double room) for two students who book together.
The living room and the bathroom will be shared with the other members of the family, although the kitchen is often reserved for the host family who prepares food for everyone.
Students have access to the house at all times. Only one student of the same nationality is placed with each family. Cleaning and one laundry wash per week are included. Bed linen and towels are provided.

This type of accommodation is ideal for those students who like to be more independent and also for those who are staying for a longer period or planning to come for summer time. In some residences you can prepare your own meals, while in others breakfast, lunch and dinner may be arranged in advance. Most of our residences are centrally located.
There is also the opportunity of being able to share the residence with Spanish people.
Residence living is an excellent way to develop international friendships.
Normally, are 10 to 25 students per residence. One can choose between single and double room.
Cleaning is included. Bed linen and towels are provided.
