About us
ACENTO ESPAÑOL was born in 1998 as a school of Spanish for foreigners located in the heart of Madrid. Hundreds of students from all places of the world passed through our Center for more than 10 years. Recognized professionals ELE (some of them currently working at Cervantes Institutes and Official Schools of Languages) have taught Spanish language at Acento Español and also were given training courses for teachers.
Our classrooms have been the “cradle” of methods to learn Spanish that the EDITORIAL ACENTO ESPAÑOL has been publishing over the last years. They are, therefore, some manuals endorsed by a long history in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language and Spanish as a second language.
Its Director and co-founder of the School, M.ª Nieves Enríquez Domínguez, is also the author of “Sueños de Colores” levels A1 and A2, as well as the complete course De la A a la Z, methods carried out in collaboration with the Asociación ADIIN.

Mónica García-Viñó Sánchez
Teacher for several years at the Cervantes Institute in El Cairo. Practiced his teaching over four years in our School, Acento Español in Madrid. She subsequently worked as a Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) teacher at the Instituto Cervantes in Rabat. She is a co-author of the ‘Acento Español’ course, intermediate level B1.
Mª Ángeles Ortiz Gómez
She was a teacher and trainer for over five years at the ai school Acento Español in Madrid and currently a teacher at the Instituto Cervantes in Casablanca. Co-author of the ‘Acento Español’ method, intermediate level B1.
Mª Nieves Enríquez Domínguez
Founder of Acento Español, a Spanish language school for foreign students in Madrid and the Book Publisher Acento Español, SL, dedicated exclusively to the development and publication of Spanish language materials for foreign learners for over 20 years. Teacher and trainer of face-to-face and online courses for ELE teachers. Specialises in the publication of materials for Spanish as a second language E/L2. Author of Sueños de Colores A1, A2 and De la A a la Z.
